"Pros: Nice place in general. Especially if you compare it with other places on Texel. The interior design is nice. And it was easy to find everything with excellent instructions from the owner. Cons: There was an old sock still lying around when we arrived. Some lights did not work properly and the heating made some noise in one of the sleeping rooms. I also thought that it would be nice if some basic ingredients for cooking would be available (like sugar, salt, pepper) and maybe also some coffee. FInally, there is not much exciting things around here. SO you better have a car." ~Steffen

"Pros: It was a beautiful location, ideal for people who like to spend time in nature. The chalet was clean and perfectly suited for our stay. It was very practical that we could park our car next to the chalet and that there was a garden house to safely store our bikes. I would really recommend to visit this region. Cons: The only downside about the chalet is that it gets really hot inside when the sun is shining. However, during summer time, we are supposed to enjoy the outside and not the inside. :)" ~Van

"Pros: The location is great. So quiet and the air was fresh outside. The washing mashine was really useful even if we had only 3 nights. Cons: The smell after a hot day with the windows closed was ughhh, but probably that is normal considering how the chalet is build. We didn't stay in during the days, only the nights, so we can't say how the heat feels, because when we arrived it was unbreatable (too hot). And when you want to open the windows to get cold air, all the mosquitoes come in. Mosquito nets would be really good. Or air conditioner... Bigger towels would also be good..." ~Adina
