"Pros: We can’t thank our hosts, Joris & Rolf, enough for making our stay so comfortable and welcoming. They literally went above and beyond to make the apartment cosy and like a second home. "Pros: The apartment was a modern loft with high ceilings and a large balcony with marina views. It also had a little snug upstairs overlooking green fields, great for children and furnished with beanbags and a TV. The kitchen was well equipped. The location right next to the marina and had cycle paths behind the building which was great. It was also fantastic to have a storage room for our three bicycles. Cons: I suggested to the owner to change the dry cleaning supplier as some towels although cleaned and packaged had wads of hair on them and the bedding provided also did not smell fresh at all. The apartment was advertised with a private parking space, however the owner was very reluctant to identify the exact space for us and advised us to park in the public parking lot instead. When we finally managed to find out which spot it was, the keys provided did not work so we did end up parking in the public parking lot where this is usually plenty of space. There was unfortunately no information on recycling and other than glass containers close by there did not seem to be any place to deposit cardboard or plastic which was a shame, only waste bins were accessible which in this day and age is grim." ~Anja
