"Pros: the cottage is set well away from from of daily life - on the edge of a forest and farm lands. a beautiful area surrounded by nature. the cottage is a home away from home. it has everything you need to feel completely at home... Cons: there is some construction work happening but it really did not bother us. It was easy to avoid." ~Jan

"Pros: Our room (Squirrel) & its bathroom were spacious, with modern decor & facilities. Breakfasts lived up to expectations from previous reviews: less choice than with a self-service buffet, but we loved Monique's selections & I'm sure if we'd wanted anything slightly different, it would have been provided. It was high quality local produce, freshly prepared & served in the comfortable breakfast room with views over the garden & fields - a really relaxing start to the day. The hosts were very welcoming & generous with tips about the local area; they both spoke excellent English. The one night our favourite restaurant (Herberg de Buitenman, across the road) was closed, they kindly let us use the breakfast room for our takeaway & even washed up after us! The wifi/internet worked well, which isn't always the case out in the countryside. Cons: We would have liked (the option of) a brighter light in the living area. The only other negative was that we didn't like leaving!!" ~Barbara
