Bicycle rental is available to explore the open nature around the bed and breakfast by bicycle. It is a 5-minute bicycle ride to the D12 dolmens. Dorpsmuseum De Kluis is a 7-minute walk from De Violier. Both Groningen and Veendam are 20 minutes by car. It is a 17-minutes’ drive to the A28 highway.
