"Pros: Perfectly located, cozy apartment in beautiful Bakkeveen. The apartment was very clean, right in the center of the center, close to restaurants and supermarkets. Free parking spot on the property. There are lots of activities nearby. Alie, the host, was very attentive, welcomed us warmly, and checked in on us throughout the stay. The apartment is very well equipped with everything you need for a short or long stay. There's even a little garden in the back (if the weather permits), two bikes, and a washing machine! Cons: For us, personally, the beds were too soft. Also, having carpet in the kitchen is not the most pleasant or convenient." ~Teressa

"Pros: Spacious unit located in a very quiet part of the site, seemed quite old but in good condition. Bedding and towels provided in the price, happy for us to park our motorcycle right outside, which is always a welcome bonus, well equipped kitchen area, compact bathroom/shower, ample hot water, large living/dining area + outside veranda with furniture, very helpful and friendly staff, we felt very welcome. Nice on site bar/restaurant serving snacks, pizzas etc, pleasant 20 minute walk into town where there are a variety of places to eat, good sized supermarket etc. and lots of interesting wildlife all around. Cons: It was very hot during our stay which unfortunately made the unit quite uncomfortable overnight - no aircon but I’m sure if we had asked for a fan one would have been provided, nothing seemed to much trouble!" ~Peter
