"Pros: Room was large and airy, very quiet, big bathroom with excellent shower, well appointed kitchenette, comfortable bed, nice ambiance, lovely staff and the owner couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Lovely outside terrace on the river that catches the evening sun - lovely for lunch, dinner and or drinks. Abcoude is a lovely village with lots of nice restaurants and small shops. A small Albert Heijn supermarket is just across the road as is 'Ollie's coffee and more' where you can rent bikes and have breakfast and coffee throughout the day - they too couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend a stay at Abbey and cycling in the area of Abcoude - truly stunning. The hotel is an easy 10-15 minute walk from the train station. It took us around 45 minutes to get from Schiphol to Abcoude." ~Vanessa
