"Pros: We travelled from Swakopmund to Ethosa and stayed over at this magnificent farm. The facilities are beautiful, well thought out, clean and practical. The owners put a lot of effort and work into creating this little piece of paradise just outside the town of Usakos. You can pre book dinner, enjoy the pool and bar area. We only stayed one night but will definitely recommend two or more nights. You can also visit Spitzkoppe as it’s close enough for a day trip," ~Rudi

"Pros: Unlike in some of the larger more corporate run lodges we had a much more intimate experience at Etusis. We were greeted by the host (and their pet meerkat 🙂) and subsequently dined with our hosts and other guests around a single table (eating lovely home cooked food introduced to us by the lodge chef). After dinner we sat outside enjoying the tranquility while watching the bats and a nightjar catch insects in the glow of the waterhole floodlight. Our accommodation was comfortable and private, set within the mature gardens looking out towards nearby hills which we walked within. Our only regret was having booked for one night only.
