"Pros: Really special place, not comparable to standard hotels. Out of the way location and simple rooms, but the atmosphere is homely friendly informal and caring. The place abuts an open area with various animals roaming in it. The whole place looks like a small garden of eden. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Well well worth it" ~Yoav

"Pros: Unlike in some of the larger more corporate run lodges we had a much more intimate experience at Etusis. We were greeted by the host (and their pet meerkat 🙂) and subsequently dined with our hosts and other guests around a single table (eating lovely home cooked food introduced to us by the lodge chef). After dinner we sat outside enjoying the tranquility while watching the bats and a nightjar catch insects in the glow of the waterhole floodlight. Our accommodation was comfortable and private, set within the mature gardens looking out towards nearby hills which we walked within. Our only regret was having booked for one night only.
