"Pros: - The owner was very friendly and nice
- The dinner is incredible. The atmosphere, the food, everything is perfect.
- Own water hole with impalas, springboks and elenantilope
- Hiking trails on lodge territory
- Very cute and friendly dogs
Cons: - If you book a double room, you get a twin but the beds are pushed together. I don't like it.
- The rooms are in small cottages and every cottage contains 2 rooms. You can hear basically everything from the other room. We only spent 1 night having a neighbour but it had some kind of dormitory vibes. I could even hear when the lady was whispering in the other room!
- It's not really negative, because you are in the desert however please be aware that there is no unlimited hot water for the evening shower! You have to be quick."

"Pros: Otavi Vineyards is a very quiet farm stay. The owners (Boshoffs), are very friendly and helpful. We tasted 2 of their wines and was quite impressed, especially in the difficult conditions that they grow the grapes.
We were given some tips where to go, especially as Otavi does not offer a lot and enjoyed the trip through the Tierkloof Pass.
If you are looking for a quite get away, this is the place.
Cons: Poor cell phone reception."
