"Pros: This is a truly gorgeous apartment which is located right on the Medina wall, so the best of both worlds are out your front door- the traditional old city one direction and the modern new city on the other. We have an avid runner in the family who enjoyed a 6 mile out/back run along the shores of the Mediterranean just steps from the apartment. The apartment is just gorgeous. We had an early (7am) ferry ride to Tarifa on our last day and felt very safe walking from the apt to the ferry dock with all our luggage early before sunrise. We didn’t experience the beggars nearby that other reviews mentioned - just helpful well-meaning people. Cons: Noisy at night in the main room and bedroom that face the busy street below. we were there on a Th and Fri so maybe it is not as noisy on other nights. We brought a very small white noise machine/cube with us that really helped." ~Jeanne

"Pros: Beautiful apartment with enough space inside and with 2 outside terraces. It was in a really great location to access the main road to grab a taxi and to walk in the Old Medina where all the shops, restaurants and attractions are. Mohamed is a very attentive and helpful host. I think this is a very good apartment for what is on offer in Tangier. Cons: The bathrooms are a little small, with an open shower set-up, that is typical in Morocco. However, it was very clean and we had no struggles. I would not recommend it for anyone who struggles with walking up and down stairs and tight spaces." ~Hannah

"Pros: The location and local charm of this apartment are truly amazing. The views are wonderful and the multiple upper areas are really nice to sit and relax in. The kitchen was nice and useful. The owner was very nice and met us at the ferry dock to help us get up to the apartment, which is right above where the ferry lands. Cons: The main area bathroom had a very low ceiling in the shower so most people couldn't use it, and the sink needs a trap, perhaps, to prevent smells from seeping in. The coffee pot did not work and just leaked yuck all over. My daughter got some spider bites both nights in the upper bed." ~Kacey
