"Pros: Tizourgane Kasbah is an amazing and atmospheric place for a stay. The citadel is 800 years old and oozes with charm. The views are breathtaking. Ask the owner, Jamal, to fill you in on the history of his family's place. The rooms were spotless, nicely decorated and the staff very kind. There must have been a tremendous amount of work put into creating a guest house from this kasbah.
Cons: You pretty much need to have breakfast and dinner at the property since there's no other option nearby. We found the meals prepared for us to be excellent."

"Pros: Yamina’s place is located in a small, quiet village several kilometers from Tafraout. Food and accommodation were excellent. Room and dining/breakfast area are tastefully decorated with local crafts. The rooms have air conditioning. Yamina’s son was very friendly and helpful, speaks French and good English. Yamina’s dinners were delicious and so was the breakfast. Memorable experience, incredible value!
Don’t believe Google Maps: You can drive all the way to the property and park right there. It’s signposted "Yamina"
Cons: The WiFi signal didn’t reach my room (a repeater could solve that). Everything else was fabulous!"

"Pros: Everything was great! The breakfast and (optional) dinner were really tasty and traditional and the auberge is located in a beautiful spot in nature. Just note that to get there you have to drive some very rocky roads."
