"Pros: The view!!!! Absolutely stunning view from our balcony and the pool. Fantastic selection of ctivities including camel rides & driving a buggy around the dunes. The dune buggy experience was amazing and definitely worth it! The views whilst driving was unbelievable! We chose to do the camel ride in the morning at 5.30 to see the sunrise which is 100% worth the early start!! We were lucky as for both activities we were the only two participants which made the experience much more personal and special. The bed was super comfortable and room was very clean. The staff were very friendly and attentive and ensured we had a good stay. The hotel we stayed at as part of our transfer en route to the Sahara Pearl (Dar Blues) was gorgeous and our room was beautiful and very spacious with an extra single bed and a small couch. The dinner at Dar Blues was delicious! It was almost a shame we only stayed for 1 night as we loved it. Overall, I would definitely recommend visiting- long journey was worth it! Cons: The restaurant food was okay/standard, in the first night we ordered two beef dishes which were very tough and overcooked. Other dishes improved over the coming evenings. Sun loungers by the pool were very very dirty and needed a good clean. Would recommend adding a fridge to the room to keep drinks cold in the heat (temps reached +43°C outside). The hotel organised our transfer to the hotel using their company but didn't provide much information about the transfer- ended up being a long excursion with tours and stops included (happy surprise) but would have been good to know before hand. We also booked the more expensive overnight option on route (Dar Blues) as was advised this had air-conditioning (cheaper option didnt), we arrived at Dar Blues to find out there wasnt any, - mentioned this during check in to the Sahara Pearl but no apologies were given and it was sort of laughed off which wasnt the response we were expecting given we'd paid more." ~Sancha

"Pros: All good things: you can come by your own car, 4x4 not needed. The prices for camel rides are fair. The staff are super friendly and the meals are yummy :) enough food even for teenage boys. Dunes right at the doorstep, so you can go on a little hike right out of your tent. Super family experience, would recomend it to everybody! Cons: Couldnt point out anything." ~Matic
