From Nasser Palace, we embarked on an unforgettable adventure to Mama Merzouga Camp, where we spent the night in the heart of the desert, like true nomads. The camel ride from Nasser Palace to the camp was an exhilarating experience, and as we reached the dunes, we were mesmerized by the most breathtaking sunset over the Sahara of Merzouga.
Mama Merzouga Camp was a beautiful. The campsite was clean and well-maintained, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home in the middle of the vast desert.
We cannot recommend this experience enough to fellow travelers. "Pros: I specifically chose Beldi camp because it is a bit further away from other camps and appeared to have a location where the dunes could be enjoyed walking directly from camp. It is a special location and we loved every minute!
Prior to our stay many travelers warned us that we had scheduled too long a stay in the desert because we stayed 4 nights. I wished we had stayed longer!
Achraf, Muha, Ali and the rest of the team at Beldi Camp were so welcoming and kind. They were flexible and helpful in scheduling activities while we were there. They checked in with us several times daily. And they included our 6 year old son in activities and conversation.
The tents at Beldi are beautiful and clean. And the food is decadent. We would LOVE to return one day!"
