"Pros: The friendly stuff and the different style of the tent.
Also although part of a camp with ordinary tents, the domes are a bit isolated.
They have their own “veranda” where you can relax outside the dome.
Communication was good and they give you (almost) all the details in advance.
On the plus, they serve alcohol with (a rather average) dinner which you pay on top.
We were supposed to take the camels to get us to the camp from the parking spot in Merzouga but they suggested it would be better that they drive us there with the jeep and then go for the sunset ride on the camels. thank God because 1.5 hour on a camel can be a real torture!!! The sunset camel ride was just about enough!
Cons: I wouldn’t really put it in the value for money category. I believe it is quite overrated and overcharged.
Although the tent was clean the main tent where meals were served was not at all the same. It gives you the sense that they never clean it…
Water in shower was cold and after a very tiring day, this was the last thing i wanted.
We had rented the dome with air-co but when we arrived (at about sun down) we could not enter our dome because it was extremely hot and we could not use the air co for a reason we never understood :(
Lastly, i believe they should be more upfront with the transfer cost (to and from the camp) which is 25 euros per person on top of everything else." ~Katerina
