Ahmed greeted us with traditional Moroccan mint tea and spent time sharing local insights—tips on must-see sights, cultural customs, what to expect in the souks, and even advice on fair market prices. It was an incredibly thoughtful start that helped us feel grounded and confident in navigating the city. What really stood out throughout our stay was the warmth and attentiveness of the entire team. Every morning, the staff would ask how we slept, check in on our plans, and offer helpful suggestions tailored to our interests. It truly felt like they were looking out for us in a very personal way. We were especially touched by their kindness when we encountered a communication issue with a tour company we had booked for a day trip to the Agafay Desert. We were struggling to connect with the operator, but the staff immediately stepped in—calling the company, speaking to them in Arabic, and patiently resolving all the outstanding questions on our behalf. They made sure we understood everything clearly and even helped coordinate the handover to our local guide. Thanks to their support, we felt completely at ease meeting the guide in the Medina and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Another special touch was being offered fresh mint tea every time we returned from a walk—such a generous and heartwarming gesture that made us feel truly at home. The service overall was exceptional—genuine, thoughtful, and full of heart. Breakfast was another highlight, with a delicious variety of fresh, local dishes that set us up perfectly for each day of exploration.
