"Pros: The location was in a quite family orientated neighbourhood. Access was easy, although the location of the property was a little difficult to find the owner and his assistant were very responsive so we got there after a little while. The apartment was clean and tidy with access to the terrace and use of a washing machine which was very welcome as we'd been travelling in total for 7 weeks by ths point. The local shops had everything we needed. Cafes, bakeries and souk nearby. The city centre is around 15 minutes taxi drive away as well as Al Mazar mall if needing a supermarket. The neighbours were friendly. The apartment was a little cold over night but there is heating installed so we used that over night(we stayed in December) The apartment was very clean and tidy and it felt like home. The kitchen was well equipped too. We enjoyed visiting the local masjid regularly for prayers and buying fruit at the stalls outside afterwards. Cons: There was a lack of bedding and it was a little cold over night. there wasn't enough blankets to double up. I don't usually like using heating, but we did use it on this occasion and the apartment was warm enough. Everything else was perfect!" ~Victoria
