"Pros: The location was excellent in the medina, close to the Kasbah. A very steep way up from the Kasbah square. The guest house was quaint and original with unique features. It felt like a cool cave in the hot days when we were in Chefchaouen. It was comfortable, though a bit small for 2 people. There was a roof terrace with a great view of the city Cons: It took nearly an hour after arriving at the city gate to find our way. Finally someone came to meet us after a few phone calls. The guest house was in a narrow laneway with no marking or name on the building. Very hard to find. The bathroom was functional but tiny. We were given the wrong password for wifi and for 2 days we could not use the internet. This made our ongoing travel difficult." ~Artha

"Pros: I loved my stay at this beautiful traditional home in Chefchaouen. The house was full of charm with stunning Moroccan touches that made it feel authentic and cozy. It was peaceful, clean and perfectly located to enjoy the magic of the Blue City. One of the highlights was the rooftop. You could see the entire city from up there and the view was absolutely breathtaking especially at sunset. A big thank you to Eimad who was incredibly kind and helpful. He made check-in and check-out smooth and even helped us with our luggage. The home is located at the top of the hills with amazing views and getting back by taxi was easy. Parking was also super convenient, just a short 3-minute walk from the house. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Chefchaouen!" ~Fatima

"Pros: Overall, very happy. Especially appreciated the location. Although it's on the opposite side of town from the bus station and up the hill from the main tourist thoroughfare, there are benefits. If you are fit and ok climbing a lot of stairs through town, you are rewarded with a neighborhood that feels authentic and lived in by local families. We loved this. At the property, there's a two-level terrace. One where most do breakfast when the weather is nice. Then the upper terrace whose view over the entire city is spectacular. Room 2 bed is firm, but we really liked this and slept well. Well enough to climb Mt. Tissouka during our stay. Cons: Room 2 claims a "city view", but the window is tiny and looks out on stone and grass. As a result, ventilation in this room was not great. Opening the bathroom window out into inner atrium/courtyard helps." ~Daniel
