"Pros: The most immaculate, the most impressive and the cleanest place I have ever stayed at. Mark, the Host of the hotel, was super helpful and made our stay really special and comfortable. Great facilities, amazing atmosphere inside the place, lots of plants and two lovely parrots. Downstairs you can enjoy a huge impressive library, which is a special feature of the place. You will be impressed with the amount of books you can find on the shelves. In the kitchen there’s everything you need for a comfortable stay, including kitchenware and appliances. You can enjoy a tasty cup of coffee on the terrace. The ambiance is super cosy and will definitely be back to Mark’s place next time. 10 out of 10:-) Cons: Everything was top level!" ~Anastasiia

"Pros: Nice location close to the centre. The staff are really nice, helpful and welcoming, especially the young girl with the brown hair and the young man with the glasses. They were both went out of their own way to help me with any issues I had and I hope they are appreciated by management for the great service that they provide every day. They are the only real reason why I am not leaving a bad review. I also like that the property has rooms situated in various buildings within the neighbourhood and think that this is a cool concept Cons: I had to have my room changed after finding bugs in my first room, so this is about the room I was moved to. I will come back to this point later. The room itself was beautiful, with marble floor, a nice big mirror and fancy light fittings. The problem is that while it was a nice room, it has obviously seen better days and has been quite severely neglected. First of all, only two of the lights actually worked in the room despite having multiple lights and switches. The bed was a sofa bed and was quite possibly the most uncomfortable thing I have ever slept on. In fact it gave me a bad back and I’m in my 20’s. Also, the bathroom is quite cramped, with not even a meter of space between the toilet, shower and sink. The shower originally had two sliding doors, but now only has one, so when showering the whole bathroom floor would get flooded. This is causing the room to go moldy! The TV also did not work and the curtains didn’t fit the front window, and my room was on street level, meaning that passersby could look through my window. It’s a shame to see a property that clearly used to be a nice place get neglected. Having said that, you get what you pay for and this place was not expensive for 4 nights, but I can understand why this property has a low score. Now, one thing that does need to be mentioned above all else is that management need to educate their reception and cleaning staff about bed bugs and how to prevent them. This is highly important as I found a few of them in my first room. Thankfully I kept all of my belongings off the bed and floor and on the surface, but this is a serious breach of health and safety! Now I understand that this isn’t always a hygiene issue and it can be that a previous guest brought them. I also hate to have to mention this in a review, but I feel like this is necessary as you cannot run a hotel with a bed bug infestation in any of the rooms and there is clearly little knowledge provided to your staff on the matter!" ~Luke
