"Pros: Hotel Boutique Casa La Malaguene is exceptional. The property is very well maintained and meticulous. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The views from the rooms and the pool are amazing, overlooking San Augustinillo. The breakfast that was included was so good and fresh! All the food we ordered was great! Liz, Marko and the other staff are so friendly and helpful. They were always cheerful and available with assisting whenever we had any needs. The location is great. It is close by to the beach, restaurants and shops. Walking distance to Mazunte is no problem as well. We would certainly stay again!" ~Ian

"Pros: Great location super close to the beach, friendly and responsive hosts who were accommodating, incredible views from the living room/terrace Cons: Shower drain was blocked, internet kept dropping, access to the apartment was through an active building site (impractical with suitcases and just not very pleasant), mosquito nets need replacing. Large part of the apartment is outdoors which meant it was incredibly hot (provided fans did very little) and there were a lot of bugs - mosquitoes but also geckos and cockroaches, including inside the kitchen cabinets and in the bedrooms (including in the bed one night). We just didn't feel very comfortable or at ease as a result." ~Francesca
