"Pros: Puerta del Cielo is an amazing place for a relaxing vacation by the sea. Rooms are perfectly clean and comfortable and each has its own on charm. “Cenote” room has its own patio with a private pool right by the bedroom. We were able to relax at the beach and at the terrace overlooking the ocean. Beach is clean and very quiet compared to Progreso or busier places. Would recommend bringing a car, as it is a bit far from stores/restaurants (as most places in the area). The hosts, Jill and Randy, are extremely nice - Jill’s cooking is delicious (let her know in advance about breakfast or dinner), and Randy made sure we had fun, lending us paddle boards/kayaks and showing us how to fish. As expected in a town like Chuburna, we had a minor issue with water, but the hosts fixed it right away. Would love to come back soon." ~Iñigo

"Pros: The location of this house is great, the main door leads to the beach (maybe 5 min walk), it is also close to restaurants and stores at walking distance. The house itself is nice, we loved the pool and the terrace to relax and spend time as a family. Cons: There were some minor details with the house that could be improved but nothing that took away from the awesome location and how peaceful it was." ~Elisabet
