"Pros: It is located up ten flights of stairs. I am young and fit so I didn’t mind this at all. It was worth it for the view. I enjoyed watching sunsets at the pool. The staff was very friendly and they helped with everything we needed. The internet was fast enough that I was able to get all my work done! It was very clean and peaceful place to spend a vacation. The outdoor cat kept us company all week; which I really enjoyed.
Cons: The kitchen was mostly well-equipped however it was missing a pot. The room required cleaning nearly every day due to the nature taking over the outdoor kitchen (ants mostly). The staff was very attentive to the cleaning, it was just a bit annoying because I could have spent my whole vacation at the place, if it weren’t for having to leave for the cleaners. But, I understand why it needed to be done so often with the relentless kitchen ants. Overall; this place is beautiful and ants are a part of nature which you won’t be able to avoid by staying anywhere else in Mazunte."
