"Pros: I loved that this little cottage looked like a traditional Mayan house, but it was very modern and clean inside. You could tell it was recently updated, and it had a kitchenette with nice amenities, drinking water, a fridge, and some snacks.
Cons: There were a lot of mosquitoes in the room when we arrived, and we did our best to get rid of most of them, but to my surprise, we did not get bit at all. So luckily, mosquitoes in this area don't seem to be very aggressive I would say. For our trip in general, which was mid to late April, we did not encounter mosquitoes at all."

"Pros: This might have been the best hotel out of our two-week trip across the Yucatan. Our room managed to deliver the hot showers, strong wifi, comfy beds, and coffee machines that our fancy city hotels failed to. As others have said the owner is very kind and available to help with anything. Parking is safe and easy next to the rooms.
Cons: Walls are a little thin, beware of loud children
