"Pros: Great location. Easy to walk to multiple restaurants for dinner. Nice spacious house with a garden one can use to play games, bbq or utilise the hammock to chill. The caretaker let us in. Although she does not speak much English, we got by. She made us really lovely breakfasts both mornings. The house had some really lovely decor with lots of different areas to sit, inside and out on the patio. Gorgeous view. Was lovely to watch the sunrise.
Cons: Only the bed lamps were working in the main bedroom so was quite dark when you were getting dresssed. Some of the bedrooms were not as modern as the downstairs area."

"Pros: It's right in the centre of true de Douce. The host is friendly and informative about the area. I had the whole apartment to myself for the ten days so it was great value for money. All the kitchen equipment is there fridge, freezer, and a hob for cooking so I cooked a few nights. There's also a nice balcony to sit out on the evenings and relax.
Cons: Palmar beach is about twenty minutes walk away which is the nearest and best beach, there is a bus to it is well.. There's three dogs next door that bark from 7 to 9pm most nights and at ten am in the morning but I slept through the night perfect. There aren't many places nearby for food that are open in the evenings and the places that are can be a little expensive in comparison to other parts of the island. There could be heavier curtains in the room as the light gets in."
