"Pros: The dinners were spectacular, and breakfast was ok even if they repeated mostly the same 2-3 fruits every day and their bread was far from Mauritius standards. The staff was super helpful always, accommodating our needs with small children, and the manager went out of his way more than once to make sure we were not disappointed! We truly appreciated his effort. The decor is bright and colourful, the beds are comfortable, and the games are great for families and friends of all ages, especially good in the evenings. The kids club staff was also wonderful and our 5 year old absolutely loved his time with them, and the yoga instructor was a joy to be around! Cons: The boat house staff was sleepy to say the least, they didn't seem too happy to see people show up for anything, but they did oblige as needed. On the sunniest day of our stay, with the least wind, there was only one guy there saying they had to cancel all activities and couldn't lend any material "due to weather warning". Couldn't even explain to me what the warning was - seemed like an excuse more than anything... The hotel manager had sorted a boat outing outing for us so we still made the most of it, even if we had to pay extra for it. The kiting is truly spectacular and the kite instructors were great, but it really is a pure kiting spot - the snorkelling requires a boat journey that makes you reliant on the not-so-keen boat house staff. You also can't use any of the other water equipment when the wind blows (or doesn't but there is "weather warning..."). Also worth noting that the hotel has doubled in number of rooms since they took the aerial photo available on Booking - so expect a lot more houses/rooms in front of the ocean view rooms, and more people on a busy day." ~Joana

"Pros: I loved my stay here. Amazing views from the guesthouse and caring owners. Very helpful was the fact that they organized my transfer from the airport and the scooter rental. Had some tasty dinners at the house as well Cons: Very low water pressure. It seems to be a general problem on the island" ~Benno
