"Pros: Gema welcomed us personally and explained everything to us, which we appreciate very much. The apartment is located in a house where there are 2 apartments, one on the ground floor and this one on the first floor. The house is located on a plot fenced with a wall, so you feel safe. Parking is in the yard, where there is also a swimming pool, which is regularly cleaned. The apartment itself consists of 3 bedrooms, a large living room and a kitchen. One bedroom has its own bathroom with shower, the other 2 have a shared bathroom where there is a bubble bathtub. The bedrooms are air-conditioned, the living room is not (but this is normal in Mauritius). The apartment also has a large balcony and a washing machine under the stairs. The locality of the apartment is great. Across the street is a supermarket Winners ( at the time of our stay was undergoing reconstruction ) and one of the most beautiful beaches of Mauritius - Pereybere, is less than 5 minutes from the apartment. Cons: WiFi access point is placed in a special room, which causes that good WiFi signal in the apartment is only at the dining table, everywhere else is very poor quality, in the bedrooms almost not functional. If another AP was placed in the apartment, the coverage would be much better." ~Jan
