"Pros: So, let's start with what we liked. I know that the propriety has only a few reviews, so I will try to be as detailed as I can, so you can understand what you book. ✨ We stayed in Unit 2 (from the photo that you see when you open this propriety). It is an apartment with 3 rooms. The space is big. ✨ We liked that the bedroom had air conditioning. ✨ There are 2 tables. One is in the kitchen and one is outside the kitchen. ✨ A very large garden and if you come by car, you can park the car in the garden, so you will be sure that nothing will happen to the car. ✨ Everything was very clean. ✨ The lady that brought us the key and the landlord were so nice and tried to make our stay as pleasant as possible. ✨ It is right near a beach. You have to walk for like 1 minute. Just pass through the parking of the beach and that is it. ✨ The beach is also quiet. Every time we were there, we saw just a few people just walking by. ✨ It is really close to Cap Malheureux (10 minutes by car) and Pereybere beach (I think we made it around 15 minutes). Pereybere beach is my 2 favourite beach on Mauritius (1 is Le Morne) and we visited a lot of beaches. ✨ There is a fridge and a lot of things that you can use to prepare food. ✨ The bed was comfortable and the bedroom was nice. ✨ Also, there is an outside shower. We used it a couple of times for washing our feet after we came from the beach and it is comfortable, cause you don't make dirt in the house. I think it is great for couples and families with kids. Cons: What we didn't like: ✨ That there weren't the adaptors that changes the plug from the one that they have to an EU one. We had it at another apartment from the south and we didn't even think of asking about this stuff, cause we thought that is a common thing to have them. And it was quite stressful, cause we came with our batteries almost dead and didn't have where to put our phones/ laptops and other stuff to charge. We had to buy some. We paid 55 rs for one adaptor in a local market, so it is not much, but still it is better to know this stuff before, so you could prepare yourself. ✨Aslo, we didn't like that the bathroom was outside the room. I mean it is not something that they can change, but just so you know, it is 1 bathroom for all 3 rooms and it is located near the kitchen. So, all the rooms need to pass through the kitchen, when they want to go to the bathroom. ✨We also didn't like that was only one room opened. Even though we were only 2 people, we booked the whole apartment, so I expected that all the 3 rooms will be opened. Our plan (exactly what we did on the south apartment that we had before this one) was to use one bedroom for sleeping, the second one for putting the luggage (cause we don't like to have everything in the room where we sleep) and the third one for work, as my boyfriend was working online during that time. We would have cleaned when we left all the rooms, but yeah, just so you know, if you book for 2 people, you will receive only one room opened. ✨Also, the beach is not the best. So, if you come here without a car and think that you can use only this beach everyday, definitely not recommend it. There are a lot of boats here, so the water is dirty and not nice at all. Also, it was a reflux once and we saw a lot of sea cucumbers there, so you risk to step on one if you are getting into the water." ~Ameliaistrati

"Pros: The house is very convenient and well equipped, there is a direct access to the beach with some kayak available which was very nice. The swimming pool is secured for kids (even though the pictures don’t show it), we’ve enjoyed the terrasse and the BBQ. Cons: this was our second time in Mauritius, we found that the communication with the cook was very difficult and the food was subpar unfortunately. Grand Gaube is very authentic and less touristic than other parts of the island, expect to have to drive anywhere you want to go. Hypermarket is located 25min drive away" ~Aude

"Pros: pool is amazing, the staff were super helpful. it’s a close walk to the beach and I honestly think the location rating should be higher. The coffee machine saved us and made great coffee everyday. It comes with most things you need. The aircon is also fantastic. Cons: Unfortunately the beds are not comfortable, neither are the couches in the living room. The bed in the second room has a hole/dent in the one side and was very uncomfortable. Great value for money but if the beds were comfy (and I booked this place as the comfort rating was 10 and a comfortable place to sleep is too if my list while on holiday) it would be incredible. salt and pepper in the house would also be nice." ~Abigael
