"Pros: Tilcaze worked really well for me as a solo traveller. The key lock means no problems checking in or out or wondering what to do with the key when swimming. The response from Frederic was always lightning fast - a properly professional host. The property is on a pleasant gated and manned estate in a very convenient part of Flic en Flac and hard to think of a better location for the beach, restaurants and supermarket. Kitchen is properly kitted out and has decently sized fridge and freezer so cooking was easy. Cons: Minor issues only - it's the same physical building as the security guardpost so you get plenty of lot of loud conversations and the toings and goings can feel pretty up close. It also backs onto the main road which can get noisy. Could have more sockets and these days people are used to having a safe. Strangely the water always stopped for a few hours at night." ~Alex

"Pros: Property is very clean. Minutes from the beach. One bedroom downstairs and the others upstairs. Pool almost outside the door. Washing machine was great but no laundry tub. A close walk to Jumbo supermarket and a few minutes’ walk from restaurants. Gated community with security at entrance. Prompt response to minor queries during our stay. Cons: Downstairs bathroom is tiny, has a low ceiling and needs another rack to hang clothes. One person complained of a hard mattress. Place can be noisy when holidaymakers arrive in nearby villas. Communal pool had some sand on it - more regular cleaning perhaps needed. Dishwasher is not very useful located in outside laundry. New frypans and a knife sharpener would be good." ~Yendaa
