On arrival on check-in day I found the owners in residence. They apologised and said Booking.com had not notified them and the property is not available. Even if it was the minimum stay is 1 week and I paid for 2 days.
My biggest complaint in with Booking.com who are responsible for this error. Further, Booking.com have yet to get back to me about this seeious mistake which meant my daughter & I were left without a stay on the last weekend of our vacation on Martinique.

And I am still waiting for Booking.com to get back to me. a week later. Even after calling the UK office at great expense I have not heard back even though the agent I spoke with said Booking.com would email me. Otherwise tbe only means of direct communication is by phone.
An big errot and unpresidented lack of customer care from Booking.com. Very disappointing"

"Pros: Isabel and her husband were great hosts. Isabel greeted us upon arrival and showed us around the property and answered any questions we had during our stay. Her husband even helped us with a minor issue with our car.
The cabin is cozy but comfortable and well-equiped and the outdoor area is quite spacious. The garden and pool are close to the hosts' house but the vegetation in between gives you a good sense of privacy.
The best part of this place is the pool. A great place to cool down after visiting Martinique!

"Pros: Wonderfully friendly host. Big pool. Lots of seating. Good wifi.
Cons: The pillows were so uncomfortable (everyone in our party had sore necks). The house needs a deep clean (mouldy shower curtains, filthy tile grout, black first inside air conditioners). And worst was the awful sewage smell that came up through the shower drains, filling the bedrooms with an awful stench."
