"Pros: The apartment is a gem situated in a quiet area across from the Le Diamant beach. It is very clean, beautifully decorated. The kitchen is on the balcony and had everything you would need. The owner of the apartment, Christelle, was very helpful, easy to reach and to communicate with her on WhatsUp. We got the apartment keys from Jackie who is very friendly and gave us good advice regarding touristic attractions and places/beaches to visit. There is a boulangerie close to the apartment where we got fresh bread. Also, there is a fresh fish and vegetables market across from the apartment and 2 restaurants close by. We rented a car for a week from Christelle's husband, Fred, and visited part of the island. The Diamond beach is long and wide, the sea is a little rough. We visited St. Pierre and went to Anse Dufour, Anse d'Arlet, Anse Noire (all within 15 min drive) and Les Salines beaches. Driving through FDF and Le Marin is slow, lots of traffic. Martinique is a beautiful island. We are planning on coming back to do some hiking on Mt Pelee and to explore the eastern part of the island." ~Alina
