"Pros: I liked the view and I liked the fact that it was gated and very safe. The owner was also very welcoming and friendly, easy to reach and available to help. Cons: The pool was not heated so we didn’t use it at all, the property faces east and to the west is a big hill so you loose the sun fairly early. The appartment we ended up having (there’s 3 appartments below the owner’s villa) was really small. Not much space to hang out if you’re trying to escape the mosquitos outside. There were a lot of little irritants, main patio door that didn’t lock, bad sewer smell coming from the bathrooms so we had to keep the doors closed. We had to ask for pillowcases, to fix the a/c that wasn’t working in the living room, for coffee mugs, but the owner responded promptly. But the worst was the party across the street at the Sorbet place that blasted incredibly loud music until 5am." ~Caron
