"Pros: I love the location. Valletta is wonderful and the street you are on doesn't have cars and is quiet. It is a nice street right by everything with people taking pictures of the street. The view and balcony was the best part of the apartment. The A/C (a unit in each bedroom and one in the living room) worked well (although one remote was not there the first day). The owners took care of the issues we had the first night the next day. Property was clean and the beds were comfortable. Also a very short walk to the ferries to Gozo and the three cities. Cons: The only real problem we had was there was a windstorm the first night that shook all the balcony windows and actually kept blowing the patio door open--the patio door lock was loose. They fixed it the next day, but the wind didn't blow like that again either. They technically would not have had the apartment ready when we got there. We waited about an hour before we should have been able to get in and the cleaning person was just cleaning up (key actually wasn't in the lock box and we had to walk up the stairs and get from her). Shower was small. A little too much of gaps between doors and walls so could see into bathroom and one bedroom if you tried. No microwave. If you have any mobility issues then don't rent because there are a lot of stairs--although this didn't bother me and it was worth the view. As others have said, the stairs could use some more lights. I think if I were a woman, I might have some safety concerns if staying along or with other females because other apartments in the building were vacant or used for storage. Someone could hide there. Although we always closed the main door at street level and locked it, the cleaner had left if open and then one time we came back and it was open--maybe the maintenance people left open--so someone could have hidden in open apt had to pass. If you are the type of person that expects everything to be just as you would design it and are not happy with anything that isn't, then this property (and probably most) is not for you. But, if you can live with the designer doing something different than what you would have done (and can manage the stairs), then the location and the view can't be beat. Some reviews talked about the hot water being too hot. They are correct that if you only turn on the hot water, it will scald you. Start with the cold--knob on the right--and then turn on the hot while testing. Was fine so long as you paid attention." ~Jay

"Pros: Most perfect location. The Sun terrace was just wow! The view absolutely stunning. The communication from the owners was excellent & they organized the taxi transfer which I would highly recommend.Valletta is stunning and full of character. Cons: Liked everything. Some of apartment could do with painting touching up & I wouldn't consider it to be 2 bed apartment. A bit dusty here& there. But was fantastic" ~Anonymous
