"Pros: The location was excellent! Short walking distance to all the attractions, main streets, water taxi to the 3 cities and a 15 min walk from the bus terminal. Having an outside roof terrace was amazing, this was THE best feature of the property! It was actually the main reason for booking this particular property as we wanted to enjoy some outdoor space, rather than book a hotel room. The views from the terrace were great, watching the cruise ships coming and going into the grand harbour was wonderful. It was really nice to have a range of outdoor furniture and a parasol too. The terrace was well equipped, albeit the rattan table needs replacing. The main bedroom was a good size, the bed was comfortable with clean bedding. The air con in the bedroom and sofa bed room worked well and was quiet to leave on when sleeping. It was helpful to have two bathrooms, (albeit one had a bad smell so we didn't use it much). The guest relations team were available to contact via What's App. We enjoyed our 4 night stay but I feel some improvements need to be made to warrant the price charged... some general cleaning and repair - sort out the smell in the bathroom and get the kitchen AC unit working would be my first priority. It would be good to see the matters highlighted below, rectified asap for future guests benefit. Cons: The property could do with some general repair; 1) the air con unit in the kitchen didn't work. I reported this on arrival and was asked to send a video, which I did, but I didn't receive a response so the A/C remained out of use for our 4 night stay. This room gets the sun all day and gets very hot, with no A/C, a curtain/blind would help keep it cooler. 2) The stairs up to the kitchen are VERY narrow/steep, this should be mentioned in the description as people with mobility issues may find these stairs difficult. There is a loose floor fitting at the top of the stairs. 3) The bathroom had a bad drain smell and a leak under the sink. Only 2 hand towels & two small bath towels provided - extra bath towels available would have been nice, rather than being told there would be an extra charge for additional towels. 4) The TV in the kitchen didn't work nor did the wall clock. The fridge door handle is broken and repaired with screws. A microwave and a few more basic cooking items eg a pyrex jug and small pan, plus basics like salt and pepper and cooking oil would be good (albeit we ate out each evening, we made breakfast there). 5) The sliding door in the kitchen has a large crack in the glass at the bottom. Where the clothes airer is kept, the glass door leading to the stairs is broken with shards of glass - very dangerous! 6) The lift up to the property is very small and if there is a power cut, as there was during our stay, the lift didn't work which meant climbing up 68 stairs, again not great if mobility issues. 7) The detailed itinerary in the welcome book was off putting and makes you feel scared of touching anything!!! 8) A late check out wasn't possible, so consider including luggage storage info in the pack (we used Bounce=excellent!) 9) Shower tray and waste grubby and a flimsy shower curtain. The appartment itself was so great, you have everything you need ( for cooking etc ), bed are really comfy, shampoo etc Super clean ! Dwayne and stefania are just super lovely they are super reactive if you need anything As I was alone and woman, i was feeling really safe ! Always replied to me if i needed ! Thank you so much !
