"Pros: Having booked Nunzio, the taxi owner who warmly greeted us at the airport and as recommended by our host, he telephoned ahead and Roger was waiting for us at the apartment. Such a wonderful welcome to Malta, our host was clearly proud of both the apartment and the island, both of which did not fail to disappoint. Although St Julian's is very busy it does not intrude on the comfort of the apartment, which is clean and has super comfortable beds. You can welcome the hustle and bustle inside by sitting out on the balcony, or simply close the doors behind you for a quiet evening. St Julian's is ideally placed for easy access to Valletta and the surrounding areas and we used public transport to get to most of our destinations. It doesn't always run on time but that sort of adds to the adventure of getting about the island. Would highly recommend the apartment and St Julian's for families and couples alike and as a perfect base for exploring further afield." ~Alistair
