"Pros: The apartment is on the top floor of the building with a very large veranda. It’s located in the quietest part of St. Paul’s Bay. And the sea is literally just across the road! The kitchen/living area is well equipped with a large fridge freezer, induction hob and oven and all the utensils necessary for self-catering. It was a pleasant surprise to find spices and cooking oil as well as various teas and coffee in the cupboard. There’s very good Wi-Fi and cable TV with a fantastic selection of local and international channels. A real bonus was really good water pressure in the shower, which really made a difference when having a shower. Cons: Everything was really good. The only thing is that the apartment could benefit from a door that would separate the bedroom from the corridor linking to the living area. This way the noises from the kitchen would be less audible in the bedroom. (The apartment is open plan with a long corridor linking the living area/kitchen and the sleeping area. The bedroom is, however, private since it's down the corridor and around the corner)." ~Jo

"Pros: The apartment is just right for three people. It has the basic essentials and is good value for the price. For us, it was perfectly fine. Józef was very kind and helpful – he offered assistance if we needed anything, which we appreciated. Communication was easy, and the possibility to leave our luggage early was a nice gesture. Overall, the apartment served its purpose well for a short stay. Cons: Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the check-in experience. Although the official check-in time was from 2:00 PM, the apartment wasn’t ready when we arrived – it hadn’t even been cleaned yet. Józef did mention earlier that other guests were checking out the same day and that we could leave our bags at 2:00 PM, but in practice it wasn’t convenient. The cleaning only started around 2:30 PM and lasted until about 5:00 PM. We had plans that afternoon, and not knowing when we could actually settle in was frustrating. On top of that, check-out felt rushed. At 10:55 AM, Józef was already knocking on the door, asking about our flight, even though check-out was supposed to be by 11:00 AM. That contrast – a delayed check-in and a very punctual (even early) check-out – was a bit disappointing." ~Veronika

"Pros: The stay was simply perfect. A quiet apartment in an ideal location in front of the beach, with an interior terrace to relax outside. The kitchenware was nice, and the bedsheets and towels were clean and comfortable. But best of all was the host, incredibly charming, responsive and helpful whenever needed. "Pros: I have never had such a good contact with a host of an apartment I rented. All information was providded in details, so that I could feel comfortable and have no stress. The apartment is really spacious and fully equipped. The living area is relatively far from the bedrooms, so one can have some rest when others are willing to chat. The location is also perfect, only 2-minutes to a nice walking area by the sea. Going a little bit further, you can find many restaurnants. The nearest bus stop is also nearby. You can reach both Valletta and some destinations in the northern part of the island, like Mellieha Beach Bay or the Gozo ferry terminal with a direct bus." ~Sylwia
