"Pros: Lovely apartment Great location Great view Good communication with host Cons: Building work going on directly opposite the apartment and the bedroom! Some people will say, "this is Malta!" But that doesn't mean you should expect to be woken at 8am every morning by the "thud thud thud" of heavy plant machinery. Thankfully I was up early anyway and was out most of the day but it would have been a poor show had I been wanting a lie in. The keys to the main entrance and to the apartment door need a bit of wiggling. I'm sure there's a knack to it but just get the keys recut or change the locks" ~Christian

"Pros: We really enjoyed our weekend at Splendid Seaside Retreat . Fantastic views over the bay and would definitely want to stay there again. Everything we needed was at the apartment. Perfectly positioned. Cant believe we were so close to the busy centre of StJulians but yet couldn’t hear anything from the centre and also had no problems with parking over the 3 nights found a parking space every time!! Would highly recommend. Lovely place to stay. Would definitely go back. Luceen" ~Luceen

"Pros: We absolutely loved the location....it was beautiful. Close to the action, restaurants and shops. Close to the bay with beautiful views Cons: No power points in the bathrooms, the decking was a bit dangerous, too many switches we didn't know what they were for. The email for check in came the day we arrived and we were unaware we had to pay a security bond before they would give us the keys...it took a whole day !! Also money was deducted which we still don't know what it was for. A bit disappointing considering it was such a great location" ~Antonietta
