"Pros: Lovely, clean and well presented apartment overlooking the marina and church. Inside looked just like the photos online. Handy for buses and some good local amenities. Aircon in the bedrooms and comfy beds. Hosts provided coffee and tea and welcome bottles of wine and water. The apartment was quiet inside and towels and bedding were supplied for our stay, as well as toiletries. Cons: On arrival in the early hours the lift wasn’t working nor the lights in the entrance lobby and stairwell. The apartment is on the 5th floor so was difficult to get the cases up the stairs, especially in pitch darkness. This was rectified following a message sent via the app. but no actual responses received. Unfortunately, both went off again 48 hours later. Again, it was fixed the following day but meant there was lots of climbing of stairs we didn’t expect and no apologies or explanation from the hosts. Even more disappointingly, there are major roadworks outside the apartment which must have been started some time ago and are planned for many months to come. This meant the beautiful balcony and view were not able to be appreciated in the daytime due to noise and dust. We were not informed of this in advance and I must admit I wouldn’t have booked the place if I had of known. The view was a massive selling point for me as was the balcony for relaxing breakfast, lunch and evening drinks for example. None of which we had." ~Craig
