"Pros: Modern apartment, the owner had thought of almost everything you could need. Even had high chairs and buggies if you had children. Parking is on the road safe and easy to find a space. However, 50m away is a very large free car park, with cctv. The location was perfect for us, 5 minutes walk to the front and all the restaurants. But away from any late noise at the peak of season. Added advantage the airport is only a 15 minute drive away. Valletta is 13€ Bolt/Uber drive away. The whole apartment was bigger than the photos show. The cleanliness of the apartment was exceptional. Cons: It's hard to find anything not to like The only amendments that could further enhance the property. Super king bed in the master. A couple of sharp chefs knives. Some soft lighting in the living room. Nome of these are essential, but would be nice and fit with the excellent quality of the apartment." ~John

"Pros: Lovely, homely apartment, thoughtfully furnished and equipped for a family. As mentioned by others, the tea/coffee/bread on arrival is just perfect for weary travellers! Charmaine the host is lovely and reliable, and even came out in the late evening to sort out an unexpected plumbing issue. Great location, on a quiet street but minutes walk away from bus stations to the rest of the island and minutes from the main street and markets. Plenty of on street parking nearby. Can definitely recommend Marsaxlokk as a base to explore the island! Cons: Not a problem for our family, but the entrance to the apartment is up a flight a of stairs with no lift. Wifi was a bit weak in the rooms further from the router, good for promoting sleep though! Finally, one of the bathrooms is in an ensuite, with just a curtain separating it from the bedroom, so clear communication needed when the bathroom is being used. I'm only mentioning here in case it's a make or break situation for someone, it wasn't a problem for us at all!" ~Joanna

"Pros: Excellent location convenient to the main promenade / waterfront of the town; Marsaxlokk is a lovely little fishing port; Rose was a very hospitable and helpful host; the apartment was clean and modern and had everything we wanted; very quiet location; Convenient parking on the street outside. Cons: We stayed there in early April quite early in the season when the weather was still quite cool. The apartment faces west and north and could be quite cold, especially in the evenings." ~Paul
