"Pros: The apartment is brand new and tastefully furnished. It’s located in a beautiful area right in the center of Gzira, yet on a very quiet street, so we slept extremely well. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly and was fast, and the water pressure from the taps was excellent. There’s air conditioning both in the living room/kitchen area and in the bedroom. Several bus stops are just 400 meters away, with direct connections to Valletta, the airport, and other places of interest. The area is full of restaurants and shops. The apartment’s description on Booking was completely accurate — everything listed was exactly as described, which we truly appreciated. For us, it was an excellent choice.
Cons: The only small issue was that the towels had a slightly unpleasant odor, reminiscent of damp sponge, which could be improved." ~Elly
"Pros: •The location was good.
•You could easily find restaurants & shops in the neighborhood.
•Fully equipped kitchen.
•Close to bus station.
•We could easily communicate with the owners via booking messages.
Cons: •The apartment was on ground floor so you couldn't open the windows and you could hear the passengers all the time like they were inside the apartment.
•The cleanliness wasn't that good.
•Some furnitures were broken although when we made the reservation they informed us that they charge our card 200€ in order to have it as a guarantee for any damages. They had also informed us that this is the office's policy for many years although as I am informed due to latest European regulations it is not legal to charge remotely a card. Unfortunately I saw this note of the apartment after I made the reservation." ~Mariam
"Pros: It may sound strange, but the guy (for privacy reasons I won't mention his name) picking me up from the airport was something that made it all a great experienxe from the start. Yeah, I know...I need to review the apartment, but honestly, the first impression it very important. And in this case it was the person responsible for the meet and greet. During the car ride from the airport to the apartment we talked extensively about Malta (of course). It was genuine and sincere. Well, that being said...let's continue with the apartment itself. Location? It's officialy not in Sliema. Trust me, nobody can tell you were Sliema exactly starts and ends. But it's near the boulevard. You can find it with your eyes closed. Want to go to Valetta? No problem. There is a bus stop within walking distance. If you like hopping on a ferry you will find it near the apartment as well. Like drinking and eating? No need to walk miles. It's all close by. The apartment is clean and looks great. I didn't use the kitchen, so I might not be the right person to tell you about what appliancess you will find. I did see all the stuff I have at home. If you look for a specific knife (can't think of somebody who might need it but I don't judge), perhaps you will not find it. Or maybe you will. Who knows? Not me for sure. Bathroom was clean and evertything worked perfectly. I think I had more towels than there were souls in the entire building. That was fine. I did sleep very well at night. Was it because I was exhausted? Perhaps. But it was quiet as well. Overall the aparment was great. I didn't spend much time in it. Why would I? Malta is a beautiful place to visit. There is a lot to se, to explore, to do. And at the end of the day, you have a nice apartment were you can rest, recharge and remiscent.
Cons: That I had to leave after only one week..." ~Z020
