"Pros: Historic building on quiet street in a fantastic location just off the main square of Vittoriosa. Close to public transport (2, 3, 4 buses) and a walk to the ferry to Valletta. Great spot to relax away from the hubbub of Valletta but with easy access to it. Cons: Humidity was palpable in the unit as is common in Malta. "Pros: The BlueHouseMalta is centrally located in the heart of the old city of Birgu, the original residential area for the Knight of St. John. The location was fantastic, steeped in history and very convenient to get across to Valletta - an ideal spot for someone looking for a quieter stay than the party areas of St. Julan's etc. The house is amazing, well equipped and very comfortable, and the roof-top views across the harbours was breathtaking. 11/10 would highly recommend! "Pros: The location is absolutely superb! It’s located in a nice and quiet alley in Birgu. There are shops and restaurants nearby on the Piazza and if you walk to the waterfront there are a couple more there. You can take the little gondolas from the harbour straight to Valletta (€2 pp) or you can take the ferry boat from the other side of the harbour (€1.50 pp for a single trip), which includes a trip on the lift straight up to a lovely viewpoint in Valletta. The property has everything you need, including a cute little balcony. The kitchen has plenty of cutlery, pots & pans, plates, etc. It also has a cute breakfast table. The bed in the bedroom is very comfy and everything was very clean. There are fans, air conditioning and a heater to accommodate for all weather conditions. The location of the property makes that you don’t get any sun into the apartment, so it’s nice and cool when you come home in the evening to allow you to sleep without being crazy warm. The apartment also gives plenty of wardrobe space and a chest of drawers. There are plenty of towels in the drawers and even some beach towels, in case your forgot yours. At the end of your visit you can put them all in the laundry basket in the bathroom. Cons: The oven didn’t work. We tried to use it on our last evening and it blew a fuse. The fuse box is downstairs, so not a major issue, but we couldn’t use the oven. There was 1x socket on the right hand side of the bed not working, but there’s plenty of sockets throughout, so also not a big issue. Some lights weren’t working, which made the kitchen slightly darker then we wanted, but there was still enough light to do what you need to do in a kitchen. There is no Netflix available on the television, even though the property is advertised as having Netflix. We found out that the TV had been changed. The welcome folder also needs updating. These are all minor details and definitely didn’t make our stay any less pleasant!" ~Cynthia

"Pros: Apartament was very clean, classy and good located. House is really historic and i can say that its one of the best where i stay Cons: House looks more bigger on photos than in reality. AC is only in bedroom, which is horror, because hot air goes to living room and is quite hot in there. Apartament in Malta’s weather can be very hot and it smells a little moisture.
