"Pros: The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Especially Nahid was always in the reception ready to help with anything and answer all the questions. They offer you also pick up from marina, buffet breakfast and free drinking water, which were all nice bonus!
Cons: The room isn’t the fanciest and when it was raining, my drain in the shower floor was flooding dirty water. Everything else was ok!"

"Pros: We liked the location of the hotel in Maafushi as it's facing the ocean and very close to the pier, restaurants and shops, etc. Likewise, the staff were nice and tried their best to make our stay brilliant. Someone as well was waiting for us at the pier and he helped us with our luggage. They also accommodated our request to store our luggage for a few days when we had to go to a different island, without charging us compared to other hotels. And because they were fully-booked when we wanted to come back, they still helped us transfer our luggage from their hotel to the other hotel (which the other hotel had a totally different service from Lagoona Sunset). The room as well was spacious enough and had a decent bathroom with hot water, AC was working very well and bed was also big and comfortable. They also serve good breakfast which was a plus, and there was a restaurant outside. Wifi was great too! I had online class when I was travelling so it was important that internet connection was strong and Lagoona Sunset was great with their Wifi connection. Although some staff didn't speak English much, they were accommodating, helpful and friendly. We felt safe and happy staying at Lagoona Sunset and would definitely recommend the place to others, too! =)
Cons: I guess it's slightly pricey but still very affordable for the Maldives category. They don't have elevators yet as there's only a few floors at the moment but the staff helped us in bringing our luggages to our room, so it's still a plus! =)"
