"Pros: Great little place, great location nearby to Bako NP (Grab only RM 27) & Semenggoh isn't too far (Grab was RM 41). The apartment is on the edge of Kuching waterfront area but I didn't mind the walk, place is next to a market with lots of food stalls upstairs. Very clean and very secure. Host contact was good on whatsapp but never met them in person. Cons: I was told to leave my luggage with the security guard (hired by block management and not affiliated with the owner directly) in the car park but the guard asked quiet strongly for a tip which I thought was a little seedy and I felt uncomfortable. Luckily nothing happened (I was backpacking and nothing in there is worth stealing anyway). I had a little trouble finding the lock box with the instructions given but luckily a shop owner inside was able to help. The lock box is on car park level, my Grab dropped me at the lobby which isn't the correct floor. Only improvement inside the flat would be to have a filtered water dispenser. It's more sustainable to have that than buying water bottles." ~Janice

"Pros: Location was further out of the main city area, but perfect for us as we like walking and also had a car rental. It also meant that the traffic was quieter near the property. Having a washing machine and somewhere to hang our wet clothes was great. Bathroom was a wet room style, was clean and shower had a water heater for hot showers. Sarawak coffee bags were provided which was a nice touch. Ice cube tray and freezer/fridge were also very useful. Balcony views were stunning for sunset and for sitting outside for a slow chill mornings. Very clear instructions on how to find the key and the parking spot in the basement of the property. Iron and ironing board provided and both in good working condition. We would happily stay here again. Cons: We found that the smell from the drain in the kitchen would enter the room whilst we were not using the sink, so on a few occasions would come back to the flat to a musty smell. I’m not sure that this could be avoided and I would say it is common with these types of drain having experienced the same in other similar properties in Sarawak. "Pros: Very good apartment good for families as they give 2 double beds and view is also good. Cons: Apartment needs to be refurbished or needs deep cleaning it was stinking not sure why. But the owner tried to help with room freshners... dint help" ~Amjed
