"Pros: The house is in a beautiful location with a lovely view. It has everything you need for a relaxing holiday stay. Very comfortable and the staff are extremely friendly. Unfortunately, we couldn't speak French, so we couldn't have nice conversations with them but they were all very friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend it for future guests. Just make sure to bring enough supplies of water and food from the mainland when you come as there are no shops close by. Cons: Just to note that the walk to Ampangorina takes about 1,5 hours one way, and when it's hot, like when we were there in mid-December, can be quite a challenge. Also, one must make sure to take enough drinking water along as you can't drink the water in the taps. Fortunately, there was quite a lot of bottled drinking water left for us in the freezer by the owners, so we only ran out on the last day. There's no place close by to buy more drinking water, so one should come well prepared, especially when it's hot!" ~Kai
