"Pros: Excellent location in the city center and feels safe to walk. I arrived at night and walking around looking for restaurants that opens so late. Grocery store (U) right downstairs and some shops. The breakfast room at 4th floor has fantastic views of Tana city. Rooms were cleaned daily, fast WiFi, friendly staff. Also, there’s an elevator, in fact, the hotel is at the 5th floor. They also have security downstairs, but don’t trust some offer you to help but they ask money. Cons: Beware! There’s two Hotel La Pousse Pousse in Antananarivo: one in Ivato near the airport and one in the center. Ensure you book the right one in Antaninarenina—the one in the city center, also to clarify with taxi drivers. The hotel location is almost 2 hours drive to the airport during rush hours. Make sure to leave on time for your flight. Taxi price to the airport and vice versa costs 70.000 ariary don’t pay more. Of course you should set your price before getting on the cab. The hotel offer a shuttle for 101.000 ariary which was a ripped off. There are taxis downstairs line-up just approach one of them." ~Belinda

"Pros: The view was great. However, I had to change rooms to get the view I thought I was buying first place. I am glad it was available. I had to pay extra $15 TO GET the room I thought I wanted and booked. Cons: There was water damage at night and the water from above leaked to ours at 10:30 pm and I could not sleep for the rest of the night though it was take care of." ~Tiana
