"Pros: Located in the former Hotel Polonia (a 100 y.o building), recently renovated and transformed into apartments. There is a 10 min walk to the main pedestrian street (restaurants, bars, pubs). Nicely decorated apartment, large and clean. The price - offered quality ratio is fair, even Lodz not touristic compared to other cities. Cons: The description received to enter the private parking lot is a bit misleading. Spent a lot of time with it. Coming from both ends of the large boulevard (big cross) in front of the Polonia Residence, it is forbidden to turn right or left. There is a forbidden acces sign on the side street, just in front of gate to the private parking, so there is just one street left you can use. We ended up by parking the car 200 m distance in a very strange place. There is no mini-espresso machine (in 2025 it is almost a must, 80-85 percent of the airbnb's are offering), just a filter machine, most probably because there is a small coffee shop few meters from the main entrance. The partition of the apartment is a bit strange: small bedroom but a separate large dressing room (can be used also as an office). However, I would definitely recommend this accomodation." ~Razvan

"Pros: Easily accessible location, about 5min walk to train station through a small park. Check-in was generally smooth, easy to get into the building but would be nice to know beforehand that you have to go through an extra door once you are on the floor in order to access the actual apartment door. Electric kettle wasn't working so host came over to bring a new one! Overall clean and seems to be newly remodeled. Has elevator, heater and air conditioning. Host generously allowed for later check out. Cons: Generally small spaces and gets to very hot in the afternoon with the sun if you don't leave the air conditioning running. Also quite loud with the tram running just under the building and extremely loud with the windows opens. Tram stops around 11am, not sure when it starts in the morning, maybe around 5am?" ~Yin
