"Pros: Easy to find, hidden even it is next to a street.
Own sauna directly at a lake.
Geating by ac and with firewood.
Exactly what we were looking for a weekend." ~Daniel
"Pros: Oro Dubingiai in an amazing location, in the middle of a forest, by the lake. Great for a relaxing retreat to nature. The pool, jacuzzi and all types of spas really help you recharge yourself.
You can also play table tennis and pool for free the whole time you are there, which was quite fun.
The breakfast was very nice - simple but definitely tasty. Enough choice for anyone.
The staff were very friendly.
Cons: The rooms are okay, but basic and old, and not for everyone. The apartment complex smelled quite stale inside, definitely not ventilated enough. And what surprised us, as we went in June - the rooms were really cold and required us to to turn up the heating.
The food prices at the restaurant are ludicrous, considering it was very simple (yet tasty!) food options. There are no other places to eat at within many, many kilometers - so buckle up to pay 20 euros for some chicken or pork for your dinner. And 10+ euros for any basic snack options.
The SPA time is quite short, only 2 hours at a specific time. We had the chance to enjoy it with very few people there, but if there were more visitors, it would've been too crowded and much less relaxing.
Considering what you get, it definitely felt a bit overpriced, but the location and nature do compensate a lot. Your enjoyment can be very weather-dependent." ~Tomas
"Pros: The location is really really awesome, there's a pond just outside the windows, it's really calm and peaceful. The cabin has floor heating, AC, and sauna inside. I saw many wild animals while staying there :)
Host gives complete privacy too.
Cons: Probably not something that can be controlled, but there is a bit of a sewer smell from time to time.
Also currently there's huge roadworks on the main road so it makes it a bit harder to travel to and from the place, but again, nothing that can be controlled.
The wifi is a bit slow, but I was still able to work (I travelled for workation). It's not too stable, sometimes works better, sometimes worse. I would recommend upgrading router as it's very old." ~Ruta
