"Pros: Totally rural location with excellent privacy yet felt secure. Traditional style homestead with modern conveniences including decent WiFi. Very clean and well equipped. Cons: The water pressure was low as one would expect with this sort iof rural home and an onsite supply with pressure tank but the shower head was in very poor condition and that combination made for a feeble water output in the shower. This could easily be fixed. The property is very much decorated to reflect the owners national and international involvement with Rottweiler dogs which was interesting but there were 5 dogs in an adjacent compound who quite naturally barked loudly at disturbances of any sort which caused some lost sleep." ~Mark

"Pros: We had an incredible stay! The owners were exceptionally attentive and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The dog-friendly atmosphere was perfect for our two dogs, and the big fenced yard provided a safe space for them to roam freely. The house itself is a gem, nestled in unique and authentic surroundings that offer a true escape. One of the highlights was the direct access to the forest from the yard, allowing us to explore nature at our doorstep. We spent most of our time on the wonderful terrace, which quickly became our favorite spot to relax and take in the serene environment. "Pros: The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. There was a coffee press and toaster, which made breakfast easy. Everything was extremely clean. Our children enjoyed the trampoline outside as well. Cons: The bars of the railing for the steps to the 2nd floor are spaced out pretty far. Our 2 year-old daughter could fit through them so we had to watch her carefully when going up and down." ~Shoupe
