"Pros: Self checkin, shower was good. The bed was okay. Lift. There wasn’t separate AC, I think there was one integrated into the building kind of like hotels, and it wasn’t too hot in the room considering it was 30C weather that day. Cons: No soap or anything for the shower. The communication wasn’t great, they asked me to pay for the city tax and parking via bank transfer and I replied that I had already paid for the tax when I made the booking, there was no reply at all. I ended up just transferring the parking fee (10€) once I checked in. But the parking was another problem, it’s probably not the host’s fault, but someone had parked way too far from the wall, which made it almost impossible to use the last remaining parking spot. I managed to get in there with guidance, but it was very tight and quite frustrating. Also the front door of the building did not open until we had to hold it close tight and then put in the code. So it was a bit if a struggle to check in as we were already tired from a flight and it was midnight at that point." ~Kadri

"Pros: The location was great for exploring the city on foot but also had good public transport. Cafés, restaurants, and grocery store all available on the same block. Cons: The weather was pretty hot for Riga, but the street was too noisy to keep the windows open at night. The squishy bed only added to the heat, though it may be pleasant in colder weather." ~Imola

"Pros: The location is great, it's a short walk to the city center and the train station. The apartment is clean, there is a washer and dryer. Although there is no parking included, there is a parking lot around the corner on Lacplesa iela where you can leave your car for 9 euros for 24 hours. So, parking isn't a problem. Cons: It is extremely noisy from the street below. I would expect some noise in the city, but this is really bad. The sofa bed is terrible. This isn't a place for more than 2 people. In combination, this isn't a place where one can get a restful sleep. Also, the bathroom door squeaks. It's annoying. There is no microwave, which the host could easily add." ~Veniamin

"Pros: excellent communication with the owners, excellent location, lots of places to eat nearby, excellent public transport links, the kitchenette has everything you might need for a small meal or breakfast, the apartment was very clean Cons: The photos of the apartment gave the slightly false impression that it was bigger and had a sofa. In fact, the sofa has been converted into a bed. The only source of fresh air and ventilation in hot weather is the balcony, but when it is opened at night, there is a lot of street traffic noise. On the other hand, in a city like Riga, you probably can't avoid street noise." ~Vaice
