"Pros: We chose this place for two nights for our family meeting at the end of December. 7 adults and 4 teenagers. 4 bedrooms for 3 couples and one single (still with 2 beds). The children occupied one spacious room in the upper level. First night we took additionally hot tub and the second - Turkish bath. Kitchen is very well equipped. Cons: The only thing, which could be better, is the last kms of the winter road in the darkness. Try to come in the daytime." ~Stolarova

"Pros: We are so pleased we have stayed here, very welcoming hosts, the breakfast is simply amazing and the location is great to go on day trips to Kuldiga and Liepaja. As we arrived, the host offered to bring out some toys for our four year old daughter. We were able to taste the homemade wine (the sparkling champagne method one is so delicious) and beautiful tea from dried plants coming straight from their garden. We wouldn't hesitate one second to come back, should we find ourselves in Latvia again. Thank you very much for everything! Cons: Not one thing, they know how to be perfect hosts." ~Luke

"Pros: I loved the peace and quiet and the early morning mist rising over the lake and the fox looking through the window in the morning and being able to walk out to the field with the cranes calling and sit by the lake and watch the peace and the fullness of nature Cons: I hadn't read all the way through the equipment available and was surprised that there was no socket or electrical connection in the lodge" ~Jana

"Pros: Despite the fact that the house is located very close to the lake and should be problems with electricity, and water -everything was smooth. First of all, it's an amazing and cozy place. Small house painted in calm color with flower pots and flying-relax chair on terrasse, barbecue place, chairs, and tables and everything you need for downhilling into the deepest chill. Second, the Vended water 18L bottle is located inside the house together with gas stove and gas heater. Inside the house no electricity but at night it is highlighted from outside with many lamps working from the sun's energy. And finally, if you need WC or shower both located close to the house. WC - approx. 15 meters from the house, shower - approx. 200 meters from the house. Cons: Inside the house found a gas heater but it is not clear how it works. Also, the ceiling lamp is present but no button or any other idea of how to turn it on/off. Please use P106 road only and then P114 to get into the location because the other roads are: dirt roads." ~Dmitrijs
