"Pros: Fine hostel in Don Det island, central location at mainstreet in the small vilage. Good facilities, clean and well cared for. Good breakfast & dinner servise (not in room/ bed price) and a bar. Good value for money. Except for the negative point in next item.
Cons: During my stay the bar was much of the day occupied by rather noisy guests, drinking beer and have a jolly but noisy time from late morning or early afternoon. This affected the atmosphere of the hostels public space. From early morning until far in the evening to loud rock music was delivered by loudspeakers around the bar and restaurant space of the hostel. Sitting tthere it could not be ignored or escaped. Everyone can have their taste, but I found it to loud and to much intrusing and dominating the whole atmosphere By only turning down the volume this could be acceptable, but it seemed the usual way in this hostel."
