"Pros: The location is indeed great. Cons: It was a strange apartment. First of all, the appearance is really different from the photos; the apartment needs renovation. Upon arrival, there’s a slight smell of cigarettes, probably from neighbors who smoke. We were traveling with two children, and the stairs are unsafe—not because they’re ladder-style, but because they’re wobbly, with loose screws. In the loft, the bed sheets looked used, and when we arrived, there were someone else’s belongings in the closet. One day, when we returned from a walk, we found a set of keys left in the kitchen that weren’t ours, meaning someone had entered the apartment while we were away. The double sofa is wobbly and crooked." ~Greta

"Pros: Centrally located, new, modern studio, clean, comfortable with all necessary facilities and amenities. A/C, heating, shower, everything working well and comfortable matrix on bed. The bus stop to/from the airport is 150 m. away, while Wawel Castle is only 10 min. walk from the apartment. The Central Square of Old Town is only 15 min. walk, the Old Synagogue in Kazimierz is 30 min. walk, while there is very good public transportation by tram. We would gladly stay here again when in Krakow and recommend this place to everyone. Cons: While there were free coffee and tea bags available in room, there were enough only for one person's consumption. Same applied to the towels: For a 5-night stay, there should be available towels to change for two persons and not only for one. Perhaps that was made by mistake but, we think, it's an important detail which should be taken care of in the future." ~Lazaros

"Pros: Excellent accommodation, and a great host. It was immaculately clean, and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils. The host was easily contactable, and very helpful. The receptionist at the apartment block was very kind and helpful as well. The location was perfect for what I wanted. I was a female solo traveller, and felt completely safe in this area. The nearby 'Jubilat' bus stops provided frequent buses to key places out of the city center. The other adjacent roads (to the apartment) also provided direct and nice walks into the center. The castle and river were just a 5 min walk. The host helpfully knew of a nearby luggage storage. Which was perfect, and allowed freedom to make the most of the last day (before an evening flight). I loved this accommodation, and didn't want to leave! I didn't know what to expect from Krakow/ Poland. But have to say that it was one of the most respectful, polite, and clean cities I've ever been to (and I've been to a lot). With beautiful architecture, and so many high quality bohemian restaurants and cafes :) I'd never considered a holiday here with the children, but I've now been looking to return in the summer.
